Job Description: Business Analyst/Domain Consultant
Qualification:
· College degree (minimum BS, MS, MBA preferred)
· 4-8 years of relevant work experience either in business
analysis, operations, business process reengineering, business
systems analysis, & testing for Securities Clients in the following
areas
o Asset and Wealth Management – Financial planning, Asset
Allocation, Analytics, Performance Measurement and Attribution ,
Portfolio Accounting, Risk Management, Reference data etc
o Product applications such as (Eagle Star/PACE, GP3 / SIMCORP.
dimension / DST Hi portfolio / Think folio / Latent Zero , Golden
Source Reference Data / Fixed Income /portfolio/fund accounting, risk
management, portfolio performance etc
o Fixed Income & Equities trading
o Mutual Fund operations
Must have:
1. Familiarity with the SDLC especially exposed to requirements
gathering and definition, functional specifications and functional
validation
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Demonstrable ability to prioritize and handle deliverables in
a timely manner
4. Excellent organizational/ planning, problem solving and
decision making skills.
5. Excellent knowledge of business and industry standard
software
6. Understanding and aptitude for utilizing latest IT
developments for identifying business solutions
Responsibilities:
1. Play a client interfacing role to generate and agree on
Business Requirement and Analysis
2. Detail the business requirements and prepare the functional
specification document for the technical team
3. Interface with the technical teams and provide the inputs for
the design and respond to requirements/ domain clarifications
4. Support the UAT process by writing/reviewing test plans and
performing functional validations.
5. Pro-actively support knowledge sharing within the team and
across Technology group
